DATA OBJECT OF TREATMENT
For security reasons, and in order to fulfill specific legal obligations, the technical connection data of users are recorded in text files stored in the server's memory (so-called Log files).
A series of technical data are recorded within the Log files such as:
- visitor's IP address;
- date and time of access;
- page displayed;
- any web page of origin;
- browser and operating system used.
These data make it possible to trace the identity of the owner of the connection, but this only following particular technical checks that can only be carried out by the judicial authority. In no case the ns. employees will be able to independently trace the identity of the visitors through such navigation data and in no case will the reunification with other data sources in our possession be carried out in order to trace the navigation paths of specific users.
DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARY
Specific information will be provided whenever access to certain services is subject to a registration procedure that involves the communication of the user's personal data.
This provision of data, sometimes, can be performed by the user in a simplified way through "connection" procedures with external services (such as Facebook Connect) which will, after the explicit consent of the interested party, automatically transmit and electronically the data necessary for the provision of the requested service.
The acquisition of data, where required, is the indispensable prerequisite for accessing the services offered by our. network.
PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT
We use navigation data and those that are voluntarily given to us by users only for the purposes for which the data were collected. In some cases it is possible that the data collected are communicated and / or processed with the help of external suppliers, who receive and use only the data necessary for the performance of the task for which they have been called into question.
Log files are processed by us to check the correct functioning of the site and protect our systems from any cyber attacks;
Personal data provided voluntarily are processed:
- to be able to provide the requested services;
- to carry out any billing operations (in the case of paid services);
- to be able to provide the newsletter service, where present;
- to be able to process specific user requests automatically or manually.
Cookies are treated in accordance with what is indicated in the specific information.
METHOD OF TREATMENT
The data being processed are processed with IT tools in a mainly automated manner. Manual intervention by authorized operators is foreseen only in particular and limited cases, usually at the request of the person concerned. Suitable security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
NOT OBLIGATORY TO PROVIDE
Apart from what has been specified for navigation data (Log files), and partly for cookies (which in any case can be blocked and / or deleted using specific functions integrated in the browser), the user is free to provide personal data or not indicated in the registration and / or information request forms. However, it should be noted that failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what is requested.
